Welcome to Shifted Threads Co. — where second-hand shirts get a second life. I am now living my best life! Just over here doing two things I love. I love, love, love, LOVE thrifting and I love, love, love crafting. When I saw these shirts, I gasped and fell head over heels. See, I was already in love with ruffles — always have been, always will be. Ruffles, bows, gingham, houndstooth, pearls, scarves, purses, shoes — you name it, I love it! Hailing from a house full of testosterone and being the only female, I'm entitled. I've earned it!

I not only make these one-of-a-kind beauties, I wear them. Heck, I'd ruffle my scrubs if I could. I love the feminine flair that the shifted collar brings to a boxy button-down, and I love how I feel knowing that NO ONE is going to be wearing the same blouse I have on. Plus, I'm human — I love the compliments I receive when wearing one of my small-town Kentucky creations. Yep, I speak Southern, so you heard me right. As you've guessed, I'm not a computer guru. My life's calling is serving others and caring for the sick — that's my true passion. But Shifted Threads Co. helps me escape from the heaviness of my life's work, nurtures my creative side, is good for my mental health, and keeps me out of the Mister's hair for a bit.

Each piece in this collection starts as a thrifted men's shirt, carefully selected and transformed by hand into a one-of-a-kind feminine blouse. No two pieces are alike. Every ruffled collar, every seam, every detail is crafted with intention, not perfection.
